@Bottlecap , try not to panic much....when u have finally decided to take the meds so now just show some persistence, and may u be blessed with gud results! a month too soon to assess stuff....if it has to shed it will shed.....just stick to the regime for a gud period!

@Blessed99 u r slightly mistaken here.....all these pics are before starting the treatment!! The thinning i had mentioned to you was post-pics, it's been roughly 2 weeks on meds, and i think it's more of psychological that i feel thinning has increased! Will post new pics after a 1 month...

Yeah, stick onto your current regime, and wait for results :D....u can consider shifting to 1mg maybe after the 6 month mark, if at all u feel no effects showing! all the best!!

Please share the name of the generic which showed good results and the names of the generics u henceforth switched over to (in sequential order please).....have also started on finasteride + nizoral recently and finasteride is generic (manufactured by cipla) and have somehow felt a slight increase in thinning...

I have read in many cases finasteride hits around 1.5 years . So keep tight, don't lose hope, and yeah you can experiment with minoxidil now, as already u have added dutasteride to your regime.All the best! :)

Get started on medication. Too much speculation also not helping you, mentally. It's either a yes or a no, and when you have accepted your hairloss, u shud better work towards fighting against it. Start taking meds, if u see any 'drastic' side effects which u just can't manage to withstand, stop...

Hi, Don't your hair feel thicker after all these years of medication? regrowth or not....can't figure out from the pics but your hair seem thicker, don't u feel so? And did you always have a full crown? as in no diffuse thinning...?
