Thanks guys, I appreciate the answers, feedback & recommendations for a doctor. However, I will continue on the finasteride and consider upping the dose until I'm sure the shedding has stopped. Will keep this updated with dosage and results etc.

Ok good to know as I don't find a lot of information about taking finasteride as preparation before the hair transplant. Makes sense as what I'll pay for are the hair follicles that are already lost. If someone were to just resort to the hair transplant without a history of taking...
