I read that the oil in your hair contains DHT and washing it everyday slows balding because you get rid of the oil (even though having dry brittle hair isn’t great)
If that’s true does that mean growing your hair long means more oil in your hair hence more DHT hence keeping it short slows the...
Crown looks really different depending on the lighting. Both of these are from a month ago
The only difference is the second is getting hit directly by the sun. I can go from looking like I have a full thick head of hair to looking like I’m balding, depending on the conditions.
Weird thing is I was looking at it in a mirror under a really bright light and I couldn’t see any scalp at all.

I thought to myself, what % of men go to old age with no thinning at all in those areas? She told me it was a mistake to assume male pattern baldness = going...
So then, a couple of people here saying my crown is ok and hairline not ok, and another couple saying my hairline is ok and crown not ok.
Not really sure what to think. Here’s another crown picture, I’m sceptical about how some pictures seem to make it look ok and others make it look less ok.
I understand finasteride is better if you catch it early but do I really want to go through all the trouble and possible complications before I’m even sure what’s happening to my hair?
