sorry, but whats male pattern baldness ? also, is there a certain type of transplant that would be best for my situation? How is a transplant usually done? I have no clue where to start. thanks again

Here are some pics of my bald spot. I've had it since birth.....can anything be done about this??? looks like i have a receding hair line....the spot is about 1.5"x1.5" you can't tell from the pics, but if i look closely in the mirror i see tiny, thin black hairs scattered about...
