It was a slow progression. I don’t have siblings with any hair loss. My parents don’t either. However both sets of grandparents had severe hair loss. Both Grandfathers were completely bald in their late 20’s. Even my Grandmothers had really thin hair their whole life.

Yes. No further recession since I have been on finasteride. When I was 26 when I noticed some recession. Got on finasteride as soon as I could and the recession stopped. I’m 34 now.

I only apply it to my hairline. Morning and at night. I still want a stronger hairline. That’s why I did PRP. I actually got it done yesterday

The first 2 photos are from mid 2016, started using minoxidil foam on the hairline shortly after. All pictures are with my hair damp. I have been very pleased so far. The finasteride that I started 8 years ago just maintained what I had. Never grew hair like the minoxidil.

I have been on Finesteride for 8 years Minoxidil for 1.5 years, and yesterday received Prp +ACell. I have minimal hair loss and a little recession on the hairline. Minoxidil does work on the hairline. If anyone has questions let me know. I’m glad there is a forum where we can all help each other
