It for the most part feels the same. the only difference is that this doesn't contain glycerin, which really dries the crap out of my hair afterwards because of the other ingredients, and takes a little bit longer to fully dry( about an extra 20 minutes). Other than that, its worth the price.

Re: Lipogaine Applying minoxidil 5% 3x a day is not the same as applying 15%. I've even tried it for a few months. All it does is irritate the sh*t out of your scalp, and make your hair look like sh*t. Azelaic acid is used to dilute the minoxidil in ethanol, it also helps keep the scalp clean...

I actually tried retin-A and started losing hair very fast. You can try a low concentration and see what happens if you like. Something like .01% should be fine, specially since rogaine is drying and irritating enough as it is.

I read a bunch of studies about retin-a. I would advise against it. I know there's one study that shows it enhances minoxidil absorption, but there are other studies that show it reduces the anagen cycle( in fact that very same study proves that as well). Your better off using a t/sal to...

For everyone thats scared about finasteride.. go on finasteride( 1mg not proscar) every other day for a few months, build your tolerance, and you'll realize that its really not that bad. Re: Lipogaine It's much better than regular 5% minoxidil, but I'm formulating a 10% minoxidil myself because i lost alot of ground since they shut down all those other companies. Used it for only 3 weeks and gave up. Much cleaner than regular minoxidil, dries fast, and a little sticky, but thats it...

If your looking for just propylene glycol free minoxidil 5%, just call a compounding pharmacy, they''ll do it for you. If you buy a couple of bottles, it comes out for the same price.

The ones that bought it, does it dry as quickly as rogaine? Any smell or differences between the 2?
