Going off for a couple weeks isn't going to make much difference to your hair, although I can't recommend getting off finasteride for anybody at all, because of the potential for the development of pfs.

Oh absolutely. That's certainly a huge part of what's kept me from getting back on it. If I got back on I could never quit again so I'd have to be on it for life, and who knows how the body would react a second time after having pfs, or long term. So yea it'd be a huge gamble.

What I would recommend to someone getting on finasteride is to go to a doctor and get some blood work done. Have them test your testosterone levels, and maybe follicule stimulating hormone, thyroid stimulating hormone, and maybe thyroid hormones as well. DHT too. But testosterone for sure. This way...

While on finasteride there were only positive sides. It wasn't until I stopped finasteride that the bad sides came on strong after about a month. As for pfs I had everything really other than ED. I did manage to feel major improvements after a yr with some diet, heavy weightlifting, and just time.

Definitely hairloss can naturally halt anywhere on the norwood scale but finasteride is a possibility as well. And he no doubt has access to the worlds best hair transplant doctors but it all looks pretty natural so who knows. Other than finasteride, I'd suspect he hasn't done anything at all most likely.

This looks to be another natural 5ar inhibitor. fwiw I've been eating pumpkin seeds daily for a couple years now, not for hair loss, but for their magnesium content. Haven't noticed any difference in the hair though.
