Just my normal shedding with my nizoral shampoo. Sometimes the shedding stops, but it never gets bad. I tried finasteride. but did not like it. It took about a month to get my side back in order after stopping finasteride.

It is going pretty good. The minoxidil foam covers the area really well and Im getting a lot of little hairs coming in. Im using the minoxidil only on my hairline, so the progress is slow but still successful.

Well thanks buddy. This is month 2 with minoxidil. I guess Ill just keep on truckin.

Hey Guys. I guess my question is can rogaine foam cause a lower libido level or erection issues? Im only using minoxidil on temples and hairline, but it seems that my libido is struggling a little bit. Could just be me, but if anyone else has had these issues please let me know.

Good questions. I would like to know the same. Not meaning to hi-jack your thread, but will minoxidil cause libido or erection problems? Maybe slightly?

You make some good points. It was just so sudden from getting spontaneous erections to getting none. It is possible that my body will balance out over the next month while on Fincar, but it is also possible that the issues will continue and the longer Im on the drug, the more damage will be done.

Thanks guys for the advice. Its really hard to cut up a fincar pill to 0.4mg. Its hard enough trying to cut it into 1/4's with a razor blade. With my high libido and hard on's all the time, going straight to almost no feeling down there with the fincar did scare me. Its a weird thing, I did not...

Decided to stop taking Fincar after 5 days of use. Once my erections went totally away and when I tried to focus it was only 65% strength. So I decided that it was not worth it. I know that others will say that the sides will go away, but right now in my life I need my libido and it was not...

Uh oh. Started to notice an erection issue and I have only been on Fincar for 5 days. No worries though. It will go away and Ill be back to normal. No testical pain or intense shedding. Also, I stopped minoxidil and will see how finasteride affects my hairline.

Alright, I buckled down, bought an air tight pill holder and cut up a 5mg finasteride. pill. So its off to the races! I use a razor blade to cut the pill, so its easy to split into 1/4's. Ill keep you guys updated on any sides. I heard they come around month 1.
