Does anyone roll daily with a shallow depth and also apply a concealer after (ie toppik or similar product)? I’ve always waited 12-24 hours to apply after a heavy roll (1.5mm), along with using rubbing isopropyl, but apprehensive for the risk of infection even with a much smaller depth like 0.5mm.
For those of you who are experiencing results with daily low pressure/shallow needling - do you still wait 24 hours before applying any products (aside from minoxidil)? Ie if you use hairspray or concealers have you experienced any problems applying these straight after? Thanks
I’m strugfling to see the difference between shock loss that apparently isn’t going to a return, and shedding - which is supposed to be a good sign (which most experience when they start needling). Anyone shed any light?
I use a dr pen and I feel like the needles get stuck in my scalp when I press too hard while covering area. Are people getting results with the lift and then press movement? I feel like you stand to not cover as much surface area as parts could be missed when lifting and moving to the next...
Thanks - the reassurance helps! After reading so many posts i suppose I know the shed is good news...it’s just easy to panic when you hit a bit shed and think that things have gotten worse and might not get better! Taking lots of pics though so hopefully will be sharing some results over the...
Hey guys, is anyone able to offer some reassurance through their experience with shedding whinin the first few weeks? I feel like my hair is the worst it’s ever been due to this shed after starting just under 4 weeks ago. Heavily reliant on Toppik, and it’s getting to the point where that’s not...
Did my third session last night (1.5mm every 7 days), applying minoxidil twice a day (was only applying once before needling), and on and off finasteride for about 10 years. I feel like after 3 weeks I’ve shed quite a bit, and hair is probably the worst it’s ever been - but I’m hoping that due to increased...
I thought the consensus was that loss ie a shed was good news? Hairs that were doomed anyway falling out to make way for a new stronger cycle? What’s the difference between shock loss and a shed?
I use hairspray and Toppik-like fibers, and no issues to report (yet anyway - only 2 weeks in). How do people who are reliant on Toppik use manage for the day or so after needling though? Literally don’t leave the house or wear a hat? No easy if you live with others/have work or social life...
Yeah I’ve had the same problem - not so much when actually needling, but just getting it on securely so I can make start on it. I do feel though that the needles sit ever so slightly angled to one side - meaning it’s harder to go back and forth and it feel like it’s getting stuck in the skin...
