You can't exactly tell what's going on from the video-- but the front has the look of thin skin piece where someone has cut into the hairline (something that should be avoided). That said, the rest of the style and piece look quite good- especially the highlights in the hair.

Do not use a comb on a hair system- use a vent brush. And spray some kind of leave in on the damp hair before doing that.

I don't know if that piece has a problem- but it's generally a bad idea to run a regular comb through a system in any case. Use a vent brush and be careful instead. If that keeps pulling out hair then you have an issue.

This is EXACTLY correct. Daily wear, if possible, can totally extend the life of a piece. By trial and error you learn how to use just enough glue and/or weaker tapes to keep it secure for the day but then get it off easily. You can repeat this for several days before having to remove any...

There are milder tape / adhesives meant for daily wear that you could try. This means you take it off every night but not sleeping in the piece (and avoiding lots of harsh solvents to remove a gooey mess) will extend the life of the piece.

I found that alcohol doesn't handle all the tape and glue residue cleanly. So I tested a little goo gone liquid on a piece cut off a stock unit to make sure it's compatible with this particular base material-- then used it to clean the rest of the residue off the piece.
