my supplier told me lace units are becoming a thing of the past

I think my next unit will be thick, non-UTS poly attached, daily, w/ Got2B - which works beautifully on thick plastic. I'll go medium density & get 2 yrs out of it!

What did balding men do in the 70, 80s & 90s before hair systems were as cheap & as good as today?

Ya, I can't tell you how many I haven't noticed as that it'd be impossible, but I have certainly noticed bad pieces on people. Unquestionable toupees. I saw an older-but-clearly-attentive-to-his-appearance guy the other day shopping in a nice area. I don't think, given his age, he'd be doing...

The Anxiety of Wearing Hair - How Did You Cope (or Conquer)

I mean, who knows. I haven't seen you or your hair so I can't judge, but I'm extremely perceptive & know others who are similarly so. Never forget that people, on the whole, don't like friction, don't like conflict. (I personally do.) By the time I was 5, I of course knew that if an overweight...

The Anxiety of Wearing Hair - How Did You Cope (or Conquer)

In response to number 1, I agree most people aren't observant at all. They're too stupid/overwhelmed, but once you get passed that population, everything gets noticed, especially in cultures/groups where people don't pretend like looks don't matter. I actually had a dream I was living w...

What did balding men do in the 70, 80s & 90s before hair systems were as cheap & as good as today?

If you look at a toupee, you might be amazed to see the "technology" it sports. Do you really think inserting hairs into lace has much room to evolve? I'm sure the toupee in Bond is better than any stock piece anyone is getting today. I mean, you have a big production w a person or persons...

Can dye stain french lace hair system?

No, it's mono all around. There is no "lace" as in French or Swiss.

Can dye stain french lace hair system?

That's definitely mono - but great tutorial. I will try it on an old lace piece. Or a piece of an old lace piece!

Can dye stain french lace hair system?

I don't think the girl in this video has a lace as in French or Swiss lace unit at all. I think her "lace" is mono. I've noticed a lot of lace front wigs have an untearable portion of monofilament at the front, which is what prompted me to shift from lace to mono! ;)

Can dye stain french lace hair system?

There is no better way to learn about wearing hair than watching ethnic women's videos. Got2B's uses are non-ending!

Intentionally Fading a Hair System in the Sun

I always notice a little loss, whether it's from the sun or washing or both, I don't know exactly. The trouble w these Chinese distiburtors is you never know what you're getting. What type of hair/level of bleaching/actual color.

Why do I keep getting the same problem????

Always condition the hair before shampoo'ing, and keep the latter to a minimum. I find tangling to be, by far, the biggest draw back of hair systems. Also, when you condition, do it while the hair is detached. Hold the unit upside down - base up - and run water through it like that so hairs...
