well i'm the same boat you are my friend. i have weak male pattern baldness history in my family as well, the only person who was bald was my grandfather on my mother's side. my grandfather on my father's side passed away with a thick head full of hair as well as a teenage hairline, no 'mature' hairline there...

ok...been on propecia for about 3 months now, and i haven't experienced any regrowth whatsoever. at the same time though, things haven't really gotten any worse either. so my question is this...to those who have regrown using propecia when did u first notice things really starting to fill in...

i'd say it's up and down for me..no pun intended. some days i wanna bone all day, some days i don't feel like doing sh*t.

i'd just hang in there if i were u, ride out the shed. i had a pretty nasty shed about 2 weeks into my propecia use (150+ in the shower)...i'm heading into my second month on propecia/nizoral and i lose about 10 hairs, maybe 20 on a bad day. hell i think i'm even starting to see some...

not to sound ignorant..but if you have the horseshoe thing going on is styling that even a possibility?! I think a razor to your head would be the best course of action to take with a horseshoe....just my 2 cents.
