Vlatch.. Update for us? I am experiencing the same thing. Inflammation, dandruff, itchiness and thinning throughout (ONLY) the top of my head. Did this medication work for you?

I was going to try minoxidil, is that more or less the same thing? The sides for finasteride scare me to be honest (I'm sure you've heard that before).

Anyone else want to comment? This thread isn't getting much attention

Okay, thank you for the response. Is there a certain dosage you recommend? I have read that the side effects are low sex drive and many other absolutely terrible sides. Any experience with this?

I started to notice light shining through onto my scalp about a month or two ago, on the right side I have notice thinning rather than full on receding. I'll try to upload pics onto this thread to show all of you and maybe we can get down to some sort of a conclusion on what's going on...
