I appreciate that, man. I really think people on here should consider the "just shave it" option more. Sure, you definitely lose a bit of your looks, but you can compensate in other areas (muscle, clothing, etc,) and not obsess about this issue ever again.

Nah dude I've fully shaved it before, I know what it looks like with no shadow. It's maybe a bit worse but most of the change is over with now tbh. Seriously try buzzing/shaving and just moving on, maybe with rogaine added. I really think finasteride is unhealthy.

I like your attitude man. I have more or less the same perspective and am in the same boat (22 y/o and balding quick). I buzzed it off over a year ago and feel better. Have no interest in the finasteride side effects or the burden/expense of taking that drug. This thread shows my story/pics...

I have no issues with ppl who go for those treatments and it's possible I try finasteride at some point, but I just wanted to make the case that buzzing/shaving it is a totally liveable option for many too, with or without adding the drug treatments.

I really appreciate that man, but my point is that I think most dudes can probably do the same thing if they're scared about treatments, tired of stressing, etc.

I think a whole lot of guys can pull it off at least as well as I can. So there may already be an ok solution for like 70% of guys if they put on muscle, get nice facial hair, etc.
