Did you quit finasteride in there somewhere? If not, how can you be sure that you don't shed with it at all? It's possible your starting it just coincided with your baldness progressing aggressively, and that it has failed to slow it down much (if at all).

The same thing happens in progressive loss, the small ones would fall out to be replaced by even smaller and weaker hairs in that case. All you can do is wait, unless there's some way you can tell from looking at the falling hairs, which I don't think there is. I'm losing hairs of all...

The little ones being shed could either mean they're going to be replaced by even smaller/weaker hairs, or that they will be replaced by stronger ones. As far as I know there's no way to tell besides waiting.

Your account falls within this very site's description of the common SUCCESSFUL effects of propecia, you just quit it before you gave it anywhere close to enough time to do anything positive. Same deal with 95% of the people who complain on this subforum, though many of them don't even quit it...
