that's not a racist remark. anyway...that's how i had reasoned it in my head before, VoRteX, as long as i pay the full price for the drug, it should be fine...since it's only covered by insurance plans when it is used to treat BHT. $95 is a little pricey...but it's not a bad fallback option.

er... a) isn't it the same exact drug as Propecia in a different dosage? why is this illegal for him to do? b) if you don't have a Proscar script, how are you buying it? from Canada or something? or is there some fishy doctor prescription stuff going on at the online stores? edit...

Have any of you guys run into this? He says that it isn't what the drug was "made for"...he'll write me a Propecia script, but not Proscar. How would you guys approach this? I want to save the $$$, but I want to stick with the Merck pill, not an Indian generic. Find a new doctor? Is there...
