I shampoo my hair every 3 days. I notice on average about 30 to 50 hairs. I don't know is that is normal or shedding, so this thread interests me as well!

I've read the side effects are not too common. I've been on Fiansteride for about 3 weeks now. Minor side effects have been watery semen and maybe feelings of being tired, but that could also be due to my erratic sleeping times.

I use Kirkland. It's good and very cheap. If you have the money, Lipogaine is a more fancy minoxidil with a better carrier and other ingredients.

Finasteride to block DHT systemically + maintenance. Ketoconazole to block DHT topically on your scalp (much less effective and powerful than Finasteride so it is not a substitute but rather a complement; but a very good one at that) Minoxidil to promote regrowth of hair + maintenance...

There are people here that have much worse male pattern baldness that you and they are also in their early 20s. There is hope for you. The crown part is usually the easiest to regrow with a combination of Minoxidil, Finasteride and Ketoconazole shampoo.
