Too bad there's been a scar on the part of my hairline that is not receding. That's why it often looks like I have an uneven haircut. The back half of my hair has a nice grip and texture, and the front half of my hair is more limp and falls flat at my forehead.
My maternal grandpa was bald, but my mom has a full head of hair. My uncle on mom's side has very thick hair too. My father has a receding hairline at the front and the crown, but still has a very nice amount of hair for his age.

Thanks, I'll look into it. Would you say thinning, as in slowly losing my hairline and eventually balding? Or just mature hairline that comes with age?
