Yes, it's possible to crash after only a few pills. I've come across plenty of cases where recovery wasn't immediate after only a few pills that caused major side effects. Try to hang in there man. You've just got to figure out the cause and devise remedies/let time pass.
Never would have guessed you were a pfs guy based on your posts in the other thread....
I wouldn't exactly call PH dead. Seems like plenty of activity going on. No, they are not lying. Not sure what happened to Mew, wasn't aware he had disappeared.
65 people took finasteride in that trial. From what I gather, fewer than 1 in 65 men get persistent and serious side effects while on and after quitting the drug. Furthermore, not all of these people experience bone depletion. There's a thread on a website for guys who experience persistent and severe...
Do you realize how idiotic the statement 'there is no such thing as bone loss' is? Ever heard of osteoporosis? And bone loss (or reduction in bone density, thickness, what have you) can be caused by any number of things: malnutrition, thyroid issues, etc. I suppose I can't blame someone who...
@Funkymonk1 No problem, of course. Tends to be people on finasteride who get nervous about possibly having to experience such side effects themselves. Understandable, though they have nothing to worry about. I think you should make your own determination on whether to stop, but what's happening to your...
For the millionth time, the side effects I'm talking about are rare. I don't doubt for a second that the vast, vast, vast majority of people who take finasteride experience little to nothing in the way of side effects; nor do I doubt, on the other hand, that a small number of doses can wreak havoc for...
Like I said, the side effects I'm talking about are rare. If you're too dumb/ignorant to realize the significance of sleep for bone growth, okay. But HGH is released during slow wave sleep.
By way of clarification, when I say 'irrefutably contradicts', all I mean is that my personal experience has shown that it's possible for the drug to cause bone reduction, or whatever you would call it. Not that it causes it in all cases, is liable to cause it, etc. Obviously that's not the case.
I've seen the study. I would perhaps believe it if I hadn't had personal experience that irrefutably contradicts it. The study is flawed or it did not have enough breadth, whatever. I did four stints on the drug. Each stint prior to the most recent resulted in bone reduction, as I came to...
Yeah fuckhead, I am.
Again, this is not reason for anyone who hasn't had a bad experience with the drug to worry. Overwhelmingly likely that you will continue to not experience issues. Don't worry and enjoy the benefits.
Possibly eating a lot and lifting weights has helped. But perhaps not and regardless, the (overwhelmingly) primary reason for my bone improvement has been my quitting the drug. They began to regrow immediately.
Perhaps that's the case with the OP. Not with me. I did have quite a bit of water retention and fat gain and have since lost a lot of it, but it hasn't deceived me into thinking my bones have grown, making them appear more prominent, bigger, etc. b/c they're not covered by as much, or anything...
It's a dramatic (though nonetheless appropriate) way of saying that it can cause severe bone loss. I don't particularly care to argue with you, believe what you will. If you're taking finasteride and experiencing no sides, good deal - that's the case for an overwhelming majority of users. No need to...
Perhaps it's the case with the OP. If you're referring to me, I am positive that's not the case. I've tracked it from the very start of quitting finasteride. 100% certain I had a severely depleted skeleton and that it's regenerated significantly since quitting.
Meh, don't feel so bad for me, feel bad for the guys who have made zero progress getting better for 10+ years after quitting. Been very tough and still a long way to go, but I have improved an incredible amount and can (if faintly) see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I took finasteride for 6...
