Prevent Hair Loss Without the Side Effects
Get the S5 Bedtime Cream with this item and protect your follicles around the clock (pictured right). You will not find a more potent antiandrogen without side effects on the market anywhere. Topical Spironolactone has become one of our most popular products, and for good reason. It is safe and effective for use in both men and women with thinning hair, and can be used in conjunction with Propecia (men only) to topically enhance the effects.
Top Tier Product. Core Treatment.
This product is one of the "Big Guns" for both men and women, and should be at the core of any effective hair loss treatment regimen. There are several antiandrogens on the market which are taken orally that could cure hair loss. The problem is, they can also wreak havoc on your hormones. The less potent of them is Propecia, which only men can take. It does a phenomenal job at stopping further hair loss. Spironolactone works for many women orally, but is not an option for men due to feminizing effects.
However, a topically applied, locally working version of Spironolactone would seem like a complete dream. So here it is. This powerful antiandrogen will only absorb locally. This not only doubles the effect of your Propecia regimen, but it adds absolutely no side effects to the equation. Topical Spironolactone absorbs only into the scalp skin, and locally stops the formation of DHT, as well as blocks androgen receptors in the follicle. This product is a perfect complement to other products like Revivogen, Rogaine, or other custom minoxidil solutions if you're looking to stimulate new growth as well.
A Personal Favorite
After stopping Propecia due to side effects nearly 10 years ago, the owner of this site embarked on a regimen of Topical Spironolactine, Revivogen, and custom Minoxidil solutions. Of course with the all-important Nizoral Shampoo (or Regenepure DR pictured right). In this way the "Big Three" were duplicated via alternate means, and Prevention, Stimulation, and Calming were addressed. It has now been more than 10 years and he still has all the hair he started with. Truly, preventing further loss is a reality if you make sure your regimen is based on clinically backed products like these.
How Do You Apply a Cream to Hair?
This took some practice, but an effective method was discovered after some time. Simply create a "part" in your hair. Dab a tiny bit of S5 Cream onto your finger tip. Then smear that cream up along the part. From that point forward just continue creating new "parts" and moving your way across the area you wish to treat. Another application of cream along the hairline is also a good idea. Remember - you do NOT need to use a lot. The goal is to get just a thin film of lotion onto the skin, then you're set
Setting Your Expectations
Please remember that treating hair loss is a slow process that requires persistence and patience. Any legitimate hair loss treatment will take between 6-12 months to begin working, and a full 2 years before optimal results are attained. So set your expectations accordingly.
There may be shedding periods in between. Shedding is a natural part of any effective treatment regimen. Existing hairs are ejected and new, healthier hairs are generated in their place. It does not always happen, but it should be expected. Especially any time you modify your treatment regimen. This is why starting small (with 1-3 core products) and waiting 6 months to a year before adding anything new, is an important part of treating hair loss effectively.
Take photos of your hair in bright light, both wet and dry. This will help you keep perspective as time goes on. Especially through shedding periods which may cause you to think you've lost more hair. Photos will help you see that things haven't gotten any worse.
