Does anyone know if this will kill me? Have to go overseas for work and will be without it for 3 weeks

No, you could probably go off for a month and not see any effect on your hair loss as long as you return to a full dose immediately after. I've taken 3 weeks off finasteride a couple times due to vacation and didn't skip a beat. You will be fine.

I was in boot camp for 2 months and 2 weeks without finasteride/minoxidil or nizoral. Didn't lose any ground, but did have a big shed upon starting back up after basic training.

So I'm assuming there is no withdrawal symptoms from either finasteride/minoxidil for most guys to worry about, right,? I've been on both of these drugs for 6 years and only once ever stopped my minoxidil for about 5 days.

I got a definite shed after restarting treatment, and may have lost some ground that I immediately got back(minoxidil hairs probably). I experienced absolutely none of this "finasteride withdraw" people are always talking about.

That's cool. I think withdrawal from most meds is actually not as bad as message forums make it seem. I once quit an SSRI and started Wellbutrin at the same time and I was fine.

It took about 3 months for my first post-finasteride shed to start, so I doubt 3 weeks would matter much.

I seriously see my density decrease about 15% after a week without finasteride ....I once ordered my meds when i ran out instead of when i had some left and It took 4 months to get back to that point so I do not suggest going off of it at all...
