I like to think it has something to do with the fact that tan or olive skin is commonly associated with looking healthy. Quite a contrast to certain Asian countries where a lot of the beauty products are marketed as having a 'whitening' pale effect, especially back in HK some of the cosmetic adverts are a little absurd haha!

I used to pride myself that I Had like 35 gigs of p**rn and could literally open ANY of the vids and click the media player bar to the exact spot I wanted

youre going back though to a time when 35 gigs was a MASSIVE amount! Its like saying $100K in the 20's equals 700,000 today, I mean the entire hard drive was a whopping 50 gigs lol
