Where did you buy your laser comb?

Welcome to this discussion board Ben hur :)

My LC is over two years old and doesn't have the five second beep feature that lets you know to move the comb to the next area. However, with a little thought and ingenuity, you don't need to get the latest model. If you've got a pda, all that you need to do is to download any ticker-type application that will beep every five seconds and then run the application on your pda every time that you use your LC. The application that I use on my Sony Clie Palm OS 4., is called Foto Timer v.2.5. If you've got a palm device which uses at least OS 3., the application is free! Here's the link to get that app.... http://www.freewarepalm.com/clock/fototimer.shtml

Ah...no:) For me, it's a pain in the you know what to count up to five seconds for everything. I think that is why the makers of the LC improved the design so that you would know when five seconds are up. I dunno, it's a matter of personal preference but I prefer to not worry about the time and rather listen for the beep.
