I would encourage you to look at individual docs like you're doing verses the big clinics or chains like MHR or Bosley, etc.
There are a number of known hairloss sites that you want to visit and research. Some of them, like the HairTransplantNetwork, do extensive research and clinic/office verifications on hair transplant doctors in primarily North America. There's also other sites which have multiple doctors that sponsor their sites with big buck banner advertising, etc.
You have to research each site and their forums and you'll start to see the same proven hair transplant surgeons recommeded. You just have to read long enough until you can sort out and read between what's a genuine recommendation from a patient and what's straight out commercialism.
