Hi

I think i started loosing hair fast around 18 when mostly in the shower. I didn't care much of it cause i thought it was normal, my sis looses alot of hair too. But i now understand that girls regrow faster then guys.. so im kinda getting worried. Also i keep it long and it looks thick. I didn't care much of it till recently, when i went to an amusement park and they take pics during a ride.... the pic showed my hair going back like im showing to you hear, damn wind lol... i look way older then my age mostly cause of my front hairline. Think im getting an early receeding hairline maybe worse? What do you guys think? and what should i do to defend my hair from getting worse especially anywhere else, btw im 21 now, my dad didn't start loosing his hair since he was around the late 30's....

wow, your hair looks really thick and healthy. it would be a shame to lose it eh..

Yeah, it does look like you are receding a little bit. The good news; you've caught it early and you're in a position to stop it getting any worse.

finasteride is what you need to stop or delay your hair loss. provillus I'm sure is a scam.

My dad started losing in his late 30s too, whereas I started in my early 20s like you...sucks doesn't it :/

Get on the finasteride dude, plus nizoral 2% shampoo and you should stop that recession at least for the forseeable future. If after 2 years your not to happy, then you could dab a bit of rogaine foam on that hairline for extra care (seems like quite a few on this forum are having great success with the stuff on the temple regions).

Great catching it early bro. Keep up the pics, and go see a dermotologist.

Peace...

You are certainly very lucky as you have thick good hair so if you get yourself on finasteride asap then you should easily be able to maintain what you've got! Man, I wish I'd f*****g got on something at your stage of the game.

Your hair looks great, there is only slight recession. Good on you for noticing this early. I recommend finasteride as well, and I'm not sure what provillus is. Minoxidil if you want to. Just research anything before you start so you don't regret your decision.

see a dermatologist. that may just be a mature hairline developing. have him check out your scalp.

You misinterpreted my post. It's clear that is hairline is receded. If he does not do anything soon then will be too late to recover.

When i wrote its bad i mean that he have male pattern baldness and it could progress very quickly.

i went to a dermatologist few days ago and what he said is to do wait to see if it gets worse. The nurse said to try out herbal solutions, then to topical they didn't even recommend finasteride till I told them.

What do you guys think i should do, stick with finasteride and nizoral?

I agree with IBM, his hairline looks bad. He is about a Norwood 2 with a huge forehead, almost as huge as mine, and he won´t regrow that.

Your hair is really thick man. I'm no expert but when you pull your hairline back like that it always looks worse.

it's in decent shape, sure some miniaturizing there, but overall just some recession, though it will likely continue as well
