if you add scalp massage, cardio exercise for 10 minutes intense per day, and a cleaner sugar free diet - I think you will give your body a bigger push towards it - not saying those things directly influence it, but they surely have helped me indirectly.
From my understanding, minoxidil works by expanding the vessels in the area applied, and over time, it is meant to allow more hair to be produced where hair used to be - thing is, vessels in the scalp are so thin, only one blood cell at a time can enter, and this makes them very easily blocked, causing thinner or no hair, and if you already have a high DHT rate, then def no hair.
This is my understanding from it - and I am too learning about it constantly, but hope it helps you.
