Alright, i've posted 3 pictures of my current hair situation- you'll have to manually copy and paste the links on your address bar to view them, or it won't work

The first one is of my hair completly wet and messed around with, under an unflattering light

The second one is of the same wet hair under a better light

The fourth one is of my hair dry

I've got some diffuse thinning, but you can tell the HUGE difference my hair looks when wet- when dry, you can't see it- Also, no receding hairline, just diffuse
So how bad is it and what do you suggest i do? Does this look like male pattern baldness? You think minoxidil will help? I can't get on propecia due to the sides

Btw, I've been on minoxidil 5% 1x aday for about 2 months, and have gone through a shed

Thanks a lot

the first one looks bad, the last one doesn't.

the last one looks just like my hair- it is fine and hangs down when dry- no thinning visible at all. Problem is, the first one doesn't resemble my hair- when my hair is wet it is all messy but you can't see through to my scalp like yours- so chances are, it might be male pattern baldness

still hard to tell though

Your hair looks pretty good dry, but I would reccomend propecia , you have a good bit of hair left so you want to definately keep what youve got there....

1 year from now, and you will be showing slighty when you're dry. After that point, it gets worse. It gets slightly more noticeable. And then it all hits. Your coverage ability, is gone. And you'll look like you're losing it. Then, it's time to shave the head.

have you tried propecia and had side effects, or are you just scared? it's not too bad now since you're all covered when dry, but give it a couple years, and it will be BAD. trust me, i only wish i started to do something earlier.

The pics work, you just have to manually copy and paste the link and click enter.
Yes, it is strange that the hair looks bad when completly wet, but when dry, you can't tell at all. Thing is, i've always had very fine and thin hair ever since i was a kid- it was never really thick- but now it's more diffuse-

You think minoxidil will help and fill out the diffuse areas? Any other suggestions? Thanks

So does that mean that I can't do anything about the siutuation? You think minoxidil will help me at least keep what i have and fix the diffuse loss a little for years to come?

There are things you can do. minoxidil can work for you. But there are no guarantees.

The problem with minoxidil is that is can make you shed a lot, making the situation worse. And, once you start, you can't stop. You've got to be disciplined with it. But it kicks *** for some. Try it, but only if you're ready to really commit.

Dude in my opinion your situation is not bad. Seems as though you are mostly experiencing mild diffuse thinning. I mean you can barely even notice there is a problem when the hair is dry, and even when it is wet it is really not THAT bad. I would suggest getting on Minos and Finasteride if you want to better your situation or just maintain at best. But really, I have seen worse here.

That's some classic male pattern baldness you got going there, but at least you are catching it while you still have a chance at regrowing some good amounts of hair.
