Hey guys

I have been using two different types of Minoxidil. Dr Lee's Xandrox 5% in the morning and Rogain 5% at night. The thing is I haven't had any flaking or iching at all, is that normal.

Of course it is.

You were counting on flaking as an indicator of effectiveness?

SE-freak, is it possible to switch between two different kinds of minoxidil? use one for a few months, and then switch to another brand?

what do you think?

btw i read alot of comments of peeps, who use minoxidil longer than 2 years and could maintain it...

Yes, if you manage to stabilize the balding process with an inhibitor then minoxidil results will outlast you.

Of course it is possible to switch. What the follicle needs -what it is accustomed to- is the active ingredient in minoxidil solutions which is obviously minoxidil. As long as there is a vehicle able to deliver the minoxidil mollecules to the follicle then all is good.

I hate how greasy Rogaine is. It sucks having to put it on like 2 hours before you go to bed. Xandrox 5% is wayyy better and I hear that Dr Lee's Minoxidil 5% drys even faster then the Xandrox 5%.
