Using Lebron as an Indicator

Okay, so now that the nab playoffs have started, I have noticed that Lebron's hair looks a lot better than it did a year ago. Is it possible he is using a new treatment that obviously has better success than finasteride? His hair looked terrible only 6 months ago! Evidence:

Now it looks WAY better and seems to be legit hair. Just wondering if you guys think it could be a new treatment he is using.

He's had that scar for over 6 years

You can go back to his Miami days or even his first spat with Cavs.

False. It's an hair transplant scar. Period. Everybody knows this. Everybody noticed it when his hairline came back.

His hair is gonna look messed up if he continues balding behind his hair transplant though. Maybe Lebron will start funding Lauster for us, I mean he gets paid enough !

Lebron could fund the top 3 research teams for decades and still have enough money left over to last him countless lifetimes. Dude is loaded with a ridiculous amount of cash. His net worth is around $450 million.

Here is a picture of him from the 2013:

You can see the scar. It is hard to find more evidence because he has always worn a headband (until very recently) and his hair on the back of his head is longer. The picture you presented completely accentuated his scar via photoshop probably to use as proof of a hair transplant, but if you look at other pictures from the same game you can tell his scar is barely noticeable. He has definitely had that scar for at least 2 years.

Are you stupid?

He's *always* worn the headband. ALWAYS. It never had anything to do with 'hiding an hair transplant scar' But when it wasnt on, the scar wasnt there until a couple or so years ago. Here's a shot of him from 2009:

http://thehoopdoctors.com/2009/04/anderson-varejao-gets-tattooed-as-chosen-2-to-lebrons-chosen-1/

See any scar? No.

How about this from 2011:

http://www.triplepundit.com/2011/04/the-lebrons/

See any scar? Of course you dont.

Just do a search in google an specify the time to anything cached in results from 2011 and before.

Relax big man. No need to get worked up. Both of those pictures his hair is longer and covers the scar, just like it does now. Even if he hasn't had it his whole life you can agree that he got it at least 2 years ago in 2013. With that being said, why would he wait till 2015 to have a hair transplant? That timeline doesn't make any sort of sense.

I'm not saying that he wore a headband to cover up an hair transplant scar. Because he wore the headband it is hard to find evidence of the scar earlier in his career.

Come an, there isn't any product he could "secretly" use. Stop this tales. You can have 1 billion dollars, that doesn't change the fact that here's no cure for male pattern baldness.
He simply had a hair transplant at the hairline.
And if he had an FUT that small, at his money, then he's stupid as hell...

The hair transplant theory makes no sense. Something like toppik could though, if that is indeed what toppik looks like. It's most likely some fake hair thing like toppik, but if conspiracies are true maybe he bought massive amounts if bim since he can afford it and get a pharmacist to make it for him.

As for why not a transplant:
1) Why would he not get a FUE?
2) He was seen with the old hair in training camp/pre-season and he wouldn't have been able to maintain privacy for more than a day or two http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-b...e-fluctuating-a-bit-these-days-220119836.html

Lebron makes 20-30 million dollars per year just off his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers (and his time with the Miami heat). He's been in the league about 10 years. He's easily got 200+ million just from playing ball. But he's making just as much from all the endorsements with Nike, Kia, Coca-Cola, etc.

Yeah, he's loaded with money. Michael Jordan is worth over 1 billion dollars.

Good for him. But, at that money he could practically afford the best hair transplant possible.

He sure could and he'd still be half bald. His options are as limited as ours.

I'm new to this site as well as everything involving male pattern baldness. Forgive me for being naive, I was just assuming Lebron has access to the best treatments on Earth. Are hair transplants a two year process? It seems dubious, to me at least, that Lebron would start this process in 2013 and just now be getting results. I could be wrong and I'm sure one of you will condescendingly correct me if I am, but if Lebron had this hair transplant scar in early 2013 it doesn't make since that he would wait till late 2014 to have the actual transplant done.

Basketball is pretty big in Europe....

In the game currently playing,
Bulls:
Nikola Mirotic - Montenegro
Pau Gasol - Spain
Bucks:
Giannis Antetokounmpo - Greece
Ersan İlyasova - Turkey
Zaza Pachulia - Georgia
Damien Inglis - France
