Using Dexpanthenol With Minoxidil

Is anyone using Dexpanthenol ,I read that if you use this with minoxidil
it is ok to use minoxidil only once daily ,which means I could apply it at night only and that would be a lot less hassle than using twice daily,

I dont use anything at the moment but trying to find out what would be best,
I was thinking of the above or failng that just using the foam as thats not supposed to be so messy

I dont understand how dexpanthenol is going to make you be able to use minoxidil only once per day?

dexpanthenol is the alcohol form of pantothenic acid(B5). Its the biologically active form of it. It has no known benefit for male pattern baldness.

Where did you get this idea from? It will help sooth your scalp from the minoxidil. But if you add dexpanthenol make sure the pH is inbetween 4-6 or it will undergo hydrolysis.

Cant remember where I read it , but it said that
dexpanthenol made the minoxidil easier to be absorbed ,
which meant more benefit hence less usage

Figured it must be a con or there would be loads using it,

Just started using 5% minoxidil at night
and
Rogaine foam in the morning
and
a shampoo containing 2% ketoconazole 3 times a week,
started last week and still got a long way to go but i'm
going to persevere with it
