Hi everyone.
After reading the following article in my newspaper in January this year.

http://www.newscientist.com/article.ns? ... rain_rss20

I decided to take the mentioned 800 micrograms of folic acid a day to help my memory.

However, to my amazement, my hair has started to grow, at the temples and on top, after all these years. (I was told by a specialist 30 years ago that I have male pattern baldness, even though I am female, and there is not much that I could do).

I don't know if the folic acid has helped my memory, but it has certainly done wonders for my hair!
However, there is a warning - high doses of folic acid can mask a vitamin B12 deficiency in older people.

Women respond much better than men to any treatment for this but congrats on the results. I wish it was something as easy as that for us guys.
