Tips for Styling Thin Hair

Hi,
I have always had really thin hair hard to style hair and really envy these guys that can just grab a bit of cheap gel, rub it in there hair and it doesnt move all day. Has anyone got any tips or good products to use for thin hair, i am looking for something that will hold it in a style and not make it go all wavy and hard to manage

My hair is also quite lifeless and flat, is there any good products that can sort this out or have i just got to live with it?

L'Oreal out of bed rocks.
It gives you this styled dry look that makes your hair look thicker.

Thanks for the reply I have been using fudge hair shaper or american crew fiber but both of these just seem a bit wet and when my hair gets wet it just goes all wavy and crap . Does anyone use any products that are quite thick and dry that they find help them?

PS Wax just seems to make it look greasy and not hold
