If hairloss treatment fails? Would you wear a wig?

personally no, I'll shave what's left and pump iron.

re: BadHairDecade

Sorry to get off the original subject, but if I am understanding you pictures, your hair looks killer. The top is the before and bottom the after right? Congrats

....

"No" to a rug - but if I don't get back to a Norwood 4 or 3 - I'd be looking to win the lottery and plunk a few bucks down on a transplant :)

You could argue that using concealer like dermmatch all the time is tantamount to wearing a wig.

I will never wear a wig or shave my head. Personally, I think getting your hair cut really short is the way to go. I think someone who is balding and has their hair cut really short looks totally fine to me. I think it is better than shaving your head because everyone knows your just trying to "cover" up the hairloss by shaving it. Just keep it nice, short, and neat. This is the way to go!! My hair is really thin and blonde, but if I get it cut really short it really does not look all that bad. Throw some gel in it when it's short and you will be fine.

Yeah. Trying to hide it by shaving it or smearing concealer in it or combing it weird looks stupid. You have to take a deep breath, accept your hair, then get a "balding" hairstyle. I'm currently sporting "the nicholson"

It looks awesome

First off I would try and grow my eyebrows and eyelashes really long and just slick them back for some sweet looking coverage. If that fails I would just start sporting a turban and go around saying I am the new spokesman for Mahatma Rice.

How come everyone says that? Why don't you just start pumping iron now while regrowing hair, so you'll be buff and have a full head of hair.

Why are all of you obsessed with "getting ripped?"

I swear I've seen this same line spewed out by panicking head cases hundreds of times in the last few years. Maybe if you're fat you should do something, and it doesn't hurt be a little in shape (even I am), but thinking you need GIANT SUPER MUSCLES to attract women is way off. I know a few guys that work out too much and they just look fat/stupid. I can even tell that one of them is trying to compensate for his ugly horse face, and another one is trying to compensate for being 5' tall. Everyone knows this and thinks they are jokes.

Women are ridiculous, so forget about it anyway

Muscles can make up for being bald. I have asked basically all the women I know and they have all agreed (anecdotal I know).

There are NOT a whole lot of 20/30-something guys that are in really good shape. A lot have beer bellies...

I have been working out for about 1.5 years now at 4 days a week... and I am starting to look really good. I guarantee by the time I am bald no woman will be looking at my hair.

To answer the question though, I would shave or just wear it balding... not sure which. Probably depends what my career is at the time.

Oh and you can bet that the day HM comes out...I will fork out the $

That makes complete sense to me as well. Cutting it short tells everyone you know your thin but your not full of vanity about it which translates into confidence.
