I have noticed my thinning on the crown is slanted to one side. The one side is as thick as ever but the other side has a thin spot. I've also noticed my hair thinning on the top of my head as well although not as bad but noticable. I was thinking of order online for propecia/proscar but instead I will go to a dermatologist to check things out. Anyway i make my appt tomorrow am. I have had extreme levels of stress in my life in the last 2 yrs (job, money, failed relationship) and wonder if that is taking its toll or it is just coincidence and my male pattern baldness time clock just went off.

I've always had a slow receding hairline and it looks mature but not bad. My hairline has not changed at all during this whole thing. The things that have my wonder are the thin spot is mostly in the back of my head to just one side and the stress levels I've had in my life. Any thoughts? I'll post what my derm says when the time comes.

found this on web for Telogen Effluvium

You will not have patches of hair loss (bald patches), but rather a generalised thinning

so it seems I have male pattern baldness.
