Hi all,

I've been reading the forums for a while now and although I don't post much I've been taking in a lot of the stuff on here, doing my research and what not and delaying and delaying and delaying...

Until now.

It's got to the point where I know that this time next year I will be very thin on top and I don't want that... so I'm going to be starting on proscar (arrived today via Dr Ashcroft) and nizoral...

I went to see my Doctor earlier about nizoral because on teh boots website it said you need a prescription for the 2 percent version... well my doctor asked me to go to the chemist next door to see if they stocked it and infact the 2 percent version... and they said yea so I got some of this now. I asked more than once if this was the 2 percent version as I only wanted this and they said definitely it was.

I don't know how to tell cos it doesn't say 2 percent anywhere on it but does say 20mg/g 100ml.

Anyway, I'm gonna start this tommorow...

got a pill cutter from the chemist as well for these 5mg finasteride pills but it cuts just 4, Dr Ashcroft has advised me in the letter sent with the pills to have 1mg a day... how do I do this? Also, would 1.25mg really make a difference?

20mg/g 100ml is 2% :), also I never needed a prescription to buy 2% Nizoral, I used to buy it in Tescos.. now I buy it online.

I think most would agree 1.25mg/1mg doses will make little difference. I cut mine into 4 pieces as it's convenient =]
