spironolactone Scent

I have been using spironolactone for a couple weeks in conjunction with minoxidil (I have been using minoxidil for a couple years already) on the hairline, and I see many vellus hairs sprouting on the temples (I am around Norwood 1.5). However, the 5% spironolactone solution I am using does not smell good at all. And due to this scent, which reminds me of that of a skunk, I do not believe it is a viable long term solution for me. I'll experiment with it for a few months to see what it can do, but if nothing significant happens, I will drop the drug. If someone would make some RU, I'd like to try it out, since it purportedly does the same thing, only more effectively, and it does not have a scent.

Good luck all with their regimen.
