somebody please make sure I'm correct on this

I'm seriously considering switching to dutasteride from finasteride. I just wanted to make sure that this is true. I think i read somewhere that 0.5mg dutasteride is more effective than 5mg finasteride. Is that correct? so that would imply that .5mg will be way more effective than 1mg on finasteride. somebody please just clarify this for me. Also, regardign prenancy while on dutasteride, has there been any comparison to 1mg finasteride? i know there is just a lot of speculation. In general, is getting a girl pregnant while on dutasteride more of a risk than while on finasteride? thanks
