Shedding miniaturized hair all over

Is anyone else experiencing this? Whenever I run my fingers through my hair, I can pretty easily get a strand, and it's almost always pretty thin (but long). This happens all over my scalp, even in the 'safe zones' on the back and sides. I'm going to see a derm about it soon, but I was just wondering if anyone here knows what this is.

I should add that my hair issues have correlated with the corrective jaw surgery I had last summer. It was pretty brutal, the month-long liquid diet was incredibly taxing on my body. However, the fact that I'm still noticing thin strands of hair like 7 months down the line makes me fear the worst (Androgenetic Alopecia)

Please schedule an appointment with a qualified professional before attempting to diagnose your concerns here. Indeed there are obviously many insightful and caring individuals on this forum who's opinions prove to carry a lot of merit, they are guess work all the same On behalf of your precious heath, safety, and time try to schedule with a respected doctor a.s.a.p.. I am tempted to proffer you my own opinion/suspicions as to the root of your hair loss issue(s) however that would not be in your best interest right now. I am sorry if I was no help. Keep sharing. Trust yourself and all the best!
