Rogaine white residue normal?

Just a quick question that I'm sure anyone with experience can answer quickly: is it normal for Rogaine (the "official" kind) to leave a white residue on the scalp after it dries?

Just making sure that I'm not suffering from sebhorreic dermatitis without paying attention to it (I do use Nizoral every 3-4 days)

Yep, that is normal and very common.

To minimize it, use a technique that Cassin taught me a while back. After drawing the dropper full of minoxidil from the jar, and pulling it out, wipe the sides of the dropper clean of liquid.

Then, as you apply your droplets of minoxidil to your hair, there will be a LOT less of it that will get IN your hair, and most of it will be applied directly to your scalp.
