Question to people that have thinning hair on the back/side of your head

Has anything helped to increase thickness in these areas?

I have thinning in these areas as well as typical male pattern baldness, and I don't think finasteride is doing anything for these areas.

So, you probably have DUPA which also affects sides and back of head. Can you post some pictures, and what about history of baldness in your family ? Is it severe, do females in your family have problems with thinning of hair ?

I don't have a camera, I also have an old phone (so no camera there)

My maternal grandfather had male pattern baldness, not sure about DUPA. He had already lost all of his hair by my age though (23). I still have most of my hair - I'm approx nw2.5

No female relatives have any hair loss. Father's side of the family all have great hair, he died with a mature hairline/nw1 at 55.

My older brother also has male pattern baldness, but he doesn't have the same thinning on the back or sides.
