My hairloss struck really from nowhere in autumn 2003. I mean it started over a night and I started losing loads of hair in the front and maybe a bit less on the top. But I felt the difference in the hair texture immeadiately. It became crappy and my scalp wich I hade been able too feel through my hair before felt like oily rubber. I mean all this happened in like a week. Sure there had been some itching prior to the onset but still. Since then I´ve lost a lot in the front(even a slighthest pull and you´ve got plenty of long hairs in your hand) but also in the nape and sides. I must´ve lost 50% of thicknes also on the sides and back.
I guess my question is that isn´t this normal that you lose hair in the nape, I mean in the nape line but not a bit higher up? I´ve been on finasteride and nizoral for 13months now and I can´t say that it has helped that much when it comes to restoring what I lost in just few weeks. By the way I´m 27.I´ve been under a lot of press and mental depression for 2-3 years now but still I believe it´s male pattern baldness since my dad is a diffuse thinner though not bald and my two uncles(maternal) are Norwood 5-7.
