i am 23 ..
so its all started 2.5 years ago when i noticed that i am start loosing some hair and the hair at my hairline got thinner..
i started to use minoxidil only at my temples and in the beggining it was actually good, my hair grow darker and with higher density..
in a process of 2 years i started losing hair from my crown, and from the top of my head too so eventually i put minoxidil all over those parts(crown , top , temples).
i noticed that minoxidil makes my scalp very itchy and i had some white sh*t on my scalp like dandruff or something ... moreover with minoxidil i had some shed periods and growth periods and eventually i decided that minoxidil is not the answer to my problem(i just stopped using it).. after 2 years my hair looked bad ,my crown was thinner and my temples too..
so i start to take propecia 4.5 months ago ( in general i think i have very high dht because i have a lot of body hair and it grows realy fast , i mean , realy fast) now i am undergoing very wierd situation . my hairline and crown are actually restored i see many new hair growth at those parts but i have a major shed from the top of my head from the sides and from the back of my head too( like 50-200 terminal dark hairs a day when i take a shower) and i cant see any new hair growth at the top, now my hairline and crown looks good but the top not so much (can see my scalp through some spots) .. i am experiencing some acne too like when i was a kid.. will it eventually stop or its a permanent side effect that continues as long as i take propecia?
anyone experince something similar ? (new growth combined with a major shed)
