Optimist you are on thin ice doing this. Cassin put us here for a reason and Dave and I have been doing quite nice since the move with no problems until now. You just created another new thread totally on PURPOSE like the other threads that Cassin had to move here.

If some brave moderator could just make a single post and say that Dave and I are not the same person this stuff could end.

What The Gardener did was unethical as a moderator and he went on a fishing trip and hooked himself instead of us. He first came on and said with pretty much confidence that we were the same. That was all that was needed to convince the others that "wanted" to believe it. Once he did that it was over. Later Savalas still would not admit we were not the same AGAIN leaving the door open to wild speculation which exists to this very second.

Could someone with a conscious please go the extra mile and prove our innocence regarding this IP issue? I know it's a pain but this was all started by Kojak not us. Now we have this guy Optimass making posts basically affirming still what Kojak originally said which ISN'T TRUE AND NEVER WAS TRUE.

Actually if it's a pain in the ***, I would settle someone deleting this thread entirely. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

I am still not sure what to make of the ip situation right now so to be fair, your still here. People would still accuse you of being the same person regardless of the ip situation.

Even if this ip issue had never come up this problem would exist.

Honestly, you need to be realistic. Both you and Dave.

You two come on here out of nowhere at the same time making extremely controversial threads to guys who desperately want to keep their hair and tell them something they do everyday is going to make their situation worse, all the while sharing the same ip.

What did you think would happen? Your posts are very hot topics as you knew before you ever came here, so when you make posts like that you invite a lot of scrutiny and speculation and point a lot of attention at yourselves. This is a topic that has barely ever been brought up besides a post here and there and suddenly two guys appear and make a huge issue out of it. The IP issue is such a small part of it. Same topic, same join date, and same post count.

How can you logically be surprised at the reaction? You can't toss matches on a pile of oily rags and wonder why its burning. You have to have some big time proof on such a topic or nobody is ever going to take you seriously. It doesn't matter if its shampoo causes hair loss or someone claiming grapes cause cancer on a wine forum. You should know this.

This will happen on every forum you go to unless the forum is built around this topic. So be prepared for this to happen over and over again if you chose to keep this up elsewhere. And keep one thing in mind, I can assure you nearly every single forum would have already deleted you both by now.

I have gone as far as I am willing to go. This is simply a free online forum and I have already spent too much time on this already. I have other things to do.

Who cares what people think of your online profile? Forums are anonymous and there is no way I can identify you for sure. I don't give a damn what anyone thinks of me here and I can't imagine why anyone else would. I have been accused of so many things there and I have never thought twice about it. Why should you.

Dave, I read what you said and I appreciate you trying to solve this. It would make sense what you said but as Cassin says, it's just not realistic and worth his time to do such a thing. If I'm him, I wouldn't waste my time either on this. I don't know anything about computers and IP's and I was thinking this could take a couple minutes to do and it would be settled but I am sure there's much much more to it. Obviously there is.

The best thing we can do to get back at Gardener is to ignore him and to show him and prove Lawrence's theory thru scientific evidence when Lawrence and Widowspeak both show Norwood 1's in July and August of this year. Once we do that there will be no denying what we are saying is true.

Cassin, I apologize to you for this. I do understand exactly how and why everyone would think we are the same from your points you made and if everyone in the future wants to say we are the same than go ahead and I will now just accept it I guess. This has gone past the point where even if you did put out evidence thru the IP's that because of the seed The Gardener planted, it wouldn't matter anyway. I will accept my fate from this point forward that Dave and I are the same and will not make anymore stink about it to the mods.

Now that this is over. There should be no more problems coming from the experimental section I would hope. Thank you Cassin for all the work you put into this and I do appreciate you giving us the opportunity to voice our opinions despite them not being in the so called "norm". A very unstable person was accusing me almost daily of being about half a dozen other posters (I'm absolutely serious about this...that's what he actually seemed to believe), and it was becoming so intense and so disruptive to the normal operations of the forum that we were all seriously discussing possible ways to prove that I am who I say I am, and not multiple "aliases".

One way I suggested was that I could give the admin of that site my home phone number, and he could feel free to call me any time he wished, and I would bend his ear for as long as he wanted (30 minutes, an hour, 2 hours, whatever he desired) about all the technical details about hairloss that he's seen me post about over the years. That way, he could satisfy himself that THIS private phone number and THIS twangy midwestern voice is indeed the one true Bryan Shelton! And he could then do the same thing with the other main guy whom he was accusing of being one of my "aliases". That ought to be a fairly convincing test for _me_ personally, but I don't know if something like that would work well for YOU.

You know what you say makes sense but I am guessing your answer will be no, the moderator never called you. You know why? Just like Cassin says. He doesn't care and he shouldn't. This is peddly crap to him. This is a minor annoyance and this should be the last of it. It's over and you know what, I am fine with people thinking we are the same. I think its more about the topic at hand than the dual personality thing that is causing the "problem."

If you sweep in with such a controversial topic while being very vocal about it you need some proof to back it up.

These guys have been around forums for awhile, they knew they were going to cause an uproar. Diamond Dave and CIG know exactly what is going on. And I am 100% sure their getting a kick out of it, just like the guys giving them sh*t back are.

If I was confident they were the same person they would be gone. Plain and simple. I am not going to waste time on the IP thing because messing with a dynamic AOL IP is useless. And no phone calls either.

Personally I think its great to have some hot topics causing people to rush to studies to read them to use in an argument. We got some petty BS throwing back and forth by all parties but thats internet forums for ya.

These guys have been 100% responsive so far when I have asked them to keep things in the experimental area. I totally respect that. Yeah its a crazy topic but thats exactly what the experimental section is for. I love seeing this area get so much attention.
