Obsessed with running hands through hair?

Damn it!! I've been on finasteride for 4 1/2 months. I can't stop running my hands through my hair and gauging how much hair comes out. Anyone else got this crazy schizo obsession??

The biggest problem for me is that most of the hairs are full length, dark, and thick!! They look perfectly healthy! WTF??? There are a few miniaturized ones here and there but not a lot.

Damn it, I'm losing my hair AND my mind!!

I've been on finasteride five months, I do the EXACT same thing. My wife goes mad. as I frantically comb both my hands through my hair and hairs go flying everywhere!

Like in your case most seem quite long and dark... I'm not worried as I can see regrowth, but it doesn't seem fit in with the received wisdom. :?

How can you see regrowth if the are no bald spots, just thinning, do you see little hairs growing between others?

My crown is very thin. Five months ago it was nearly bald. It's easy to see the difference between five dark hairs and one hundred and five.
