Hi, this is my first post here, and would like to ask some advice of the users here.
I have been on Propecia (1mg) almost a year now, but it does not seem to be doing much, if anything, for me. In fact, over the last couple of weeks, I've noticed my hair seems to be considerably thinner.
I've also recently started using Nizoral 2% every second day (alternating with regular shampoo on the other day), but I'm not sure if this is a good idea since it seems quite harsh and actually makes my hair feel a lot thinner.
So I'm wondering what I should try next?
For shampoo I'm thinking about trying Regenepure to replace the Nizoral, since I've read some good things about it, and it does seem to have good ingredients.
Also thinking about trying the Tricomin spray or Prox-N to hopefully stimulate a bit of growth.
What do you think?
Is it worth trying these or should I just go straight to Rogaine?
Also, since the propecia doesn't seem to be working too well, should I add something like the S5 Topical spironolactone or would it be pointless?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Oh, and I guess I should say something about my situation:
I am 30. Been gradually losing hair for the last 4 years or so. I first noticed it on the crown when I had braids/dreds. Since then it seems to have slowly thinned all over and the front has receded somewhat. I've never noticed any major shedding or falling out of hair. It just seems to be gradually getting sparser and sparser.
Thanks for reading.
