Guys, and if there are any here ladies, just saying hello.I'm a newby to the sucks to be me club.

I figure I'll start with a question.I have diffused thinning hair, noticable,yes.I started losing it about 4 years ago.I have always had thin hair as both of my parents do.I just started on Propecia about 1 week ago.I have read that it's best to take it for a year and see how one reacts to the drug.My question is do any of you that have similiar hair loss agree that this is best?I still have hair it's just very thin.There is really no slick spot if so then it's very minute.I was considering adding minoxidil to the mix as well,but am unsure if this is the best route.I know that minoxidil is good for regrowing hair so I'm going to ask another question.I'm sure many of you are using it so how much of a pain in the arse do you find it to be?Also give me an estimated amount of time it takes you to apply.I don't want to start on minoxidil w/o knowing whether or not I really needed it,but then again I do not want to let things get so out of hand that I have to climb a mountain to get caught back up.My hariloss has gone far enough I feel and I have no desire to see it go further away

Sorry for the long post just getting aquainted and asking questions.I will drop in a couple times a week,but sadly,I will not be able to stay all up with participating for the next few weeks at least.

yes, propecia is good for that. i have similar hairloss to you, just a general thinning everywhere but still coverage. good luck on propecia, you're taking a HUGE step toward stopping hairloss. The hard part is over, you got off your *** and got some propecia, now its easy, sit back, relax, and take the ups and downs of treatment with the knowledge that this stuff WORKS. best of luck.

i would say do some research on a bunch of the well known and backed treatments.....try looking into propecia and spironolactone for controling your hairloss...and try looking at such favs as minoxidil for the regrow.....but like i said please do some research so you dont get into somehting you regret or even allergic too(you never know)....and as always keep askin as many questions as you want.....the more you ask the better you will know your on problems and learn how to properly treat them
