Hi everyone

Just registered for your fine forums, I really like the sincered advice that people offer, and the wealth of information that is available.

I'm 23 and i've started losing hair on my temple and back of head in general quite rapidly, a lot of thinning. I've done some research on the web and am intrigued by Provillus, which seems affordable, backed with a money back guarantee. It's hard to tell fact from product promotion, and I'd really appreciate it if someone who is aware of this product could offer me some advice. Thanks so much for your time. Cheers!

Never heard of it. post the ingredients and I'll tell you if it is any good. Unless it has a lot of stuff we've been talking about, it probably is not.

Now I do take B6 and Biotin, but they run me $25 a year combined. The rest of this stuff looks pretty worthless, but what do you think?

It's over $300 a year for this Provillus crap- I doubt it's worth it. Saw palmetto, zinc?

the biotin can help some people, but I don't know if it helps most male pattern baldness people. You can get biotin cheap, though.

the saw palmetto is only good if it is the 85% extract, not the fruit.

the nettle may do something weak.

I strongly doubt this product is worth anything other than the biotin, which is best at 2.5mg per day, so one of those capsules. But you can get 400 doses for $5 on http://www.beyond-a-century.com, in a bulk powder.

How much does that stuff cost? I'm sure it is at least $20, if it is like most scams.

$150 for a 6 month supply. So $300 for a years worth. Ripoff

Why do you say the 2.5 mg biotin dose is optimal? I know that's what the study said but I take pills and I think the 5 mg dose is fine. Sublime takes 5 mg a day as well.

Thanks a lot for the informative replies. I suspected that it was a scam of sorts. What do people in their early 20's generally take to stop further hair loss, and grow their hair back? I guess my concerns are cost, and how frequently pills or creams must be taken/applied

also, i can't seem to order anything from that website you pasted earlier (im in Australia and they don't deliver outside the states). I'd like to get biotin but the chemist only has bottles of 100 tablets, each containin 300mcg of biotin. Any recommendations?

every day and every day. no easy fixes for hair loss as yet, no total fixes at all. read up around here on the best ways and places to get finasteride and minoxidil, can work out very cheap if you do it right.
