My Dutasteride Results after 18 Months

Hey lads,

I would like to come back to you with an update after 6 months.
When I was looking closer at my hair tonite I was wondering if it got worse in the last 6 months.
So I took a look at the oder pictures.

Today:


Acutally I don't have the feeling I got more hair in the last 18 months. But I'm sure that Duta made my remaining hair thicker.
But this is not bad anyway.

What do you guys think?

balu, are you taking geneic dutasteride or real avodart? where do u get it. also do u take it every day or EOD?

Real. My sister is a Doctor, so easy for me to get it
Actually every day. But I may switch to EOD.

cool man, im getting some real dutasteride through medicalwellnesscenter script soon as my finasteride prescription is gone. ill prolly do EOD... looks good though, you must be really pleased.

WOW! :woot: I have been on finasteride for over a year and dutasteride for 6 month's and have maintained well. I hope I get those kind of results at 18 month's. Great job! :bravo:

Hi Propeciajunkie

I see you take finasteride & dutasteride. I've been on finasteride since May last year and it has slowed down my hairloss and my hair appears thicker. However I think I'm still losing hair so am considering to switching to/ adding dutasteride.

Can I ask why you added dutasteride and what your results have been. I want to try and halt hair loss but am worried about increased shedding on dutasteride.

I had the same results as you on finasteride, slowed down, thickened a bit so I added dutasteride to try and stop any further loss and get more regrowth. I have been on dutasteride for 6 month's now and I think it has finally stopped. i got some new growth along the temples but I think i need to wait at least a year before evaluting. As far as any new shed, I did not personally shed when I added dutasteride but everyone is different. Good luck

propeciajunkie im about to add dutasteride as well. Im thinking of keeping propecia for ED use and dutasteride EOD. Do you have any sides at all?

Ive got no sides with just finasteride so im pretty confident dutasteride wont hurt me either.

The "blondeness" of my hair changes during the seasons. But it could be also the light what is different.

Looks a damned site thicker no matter the colour. This is why I'm surprised that you're considering switching to EOD, I mean why tamper with a successful regime?
