Hi everyone! First of all i want to say what my english isn't that good so sorry, buy i will try my best.

I have a friend that have been using minoxidil for about 3 years ago. He quit the minoxidil after 1 year of using it. He did get good regrowth of hair but he stop because he got wrinkles on the forehead and around the eyes, and dark circles around the eyes too.
Now after 2 years of stopping the use of minoxidil, the dark circles are gone but the wrinkles are still there. He is very depressed about this.

I have research alot about hair treatments because its time for my own hair to use some treathment that works.
The only treathments i found that sound good to me (i've got very little experience) is minoxidil, finasterid and ketoconazole(that together calls "big three"), that actually works and got many good reviews regarding hair loss treathment.
I'm to afraid to try the finasterid because of side effects(even if its the best treathment).ketoconazole seems to be with no side effects(that is a bigger deal). But i dont think i can use only ketoconazole all alone? Then its the minoxidil that have a chance to give you wrinkles that is PERMANENT of what i know.

Do you guys know much about this minoxidil side effect that isn't even listed as a side effect? can you guys help me learn more about this side effect, like can i do something to prevent it to happen while i use minoxidil?
And do you guys knows other treathments that you think works?
Many thanks!

Hi
Like you say minoxidil, finasteride, nizoral are the most popular treatments. But you need to be more specific in what you wish to use, because each one as a different purpose.

minoxidil = growth stimulant
finasteride = antiandrogen
nizarol= both mild antiandrogen , antifungal properties.

The other day on Hair loss help forum someone posted a video that followed 6 different men trying different treatment approaches. These involved all of the above , as well combinations of them also hair transplants and one product that up until now i had not heard of my self it was called Viviscal The user said that although he didn't get any noticible regrowth the hair loss appeared to cease. Obviously there is no gaurantee that it will work for all but it sounds like a very good alternative to finasteride which as you know can have lots of side effects associated with it.

Anyway this Viviscal can be found on ebay, however, it's not cheap.
Hope this is of some help.
