Looking at old pictures

So I'm still bothered about my hair, even though you've said it's fine. Just something I'll have to work on. So anyway, I know most people recommend checking pictures of your hair every 6 months or so to gauge you hair, and I haven't done that, because I've just been taking pictures obsessively every few weeks. I went back to one of my earliest posts (where the picture was still available) and I found this from just over a year ago;

and this is from summer 2010;

Does that look like much, if any change to my hair now? If you haven't already seen the album with pics of my hair in, tell me and I'll repost the link.

Sorry if am a bit of a pain. Thanks.

You have blonde, thin hair so it's going to look like that. You only see your scalp because of the lighting (sun, camera flash). As far as hair density/loss only you can tell because that is hard to tell by the pictures. Hairloss takes years and years which starts from hair miniaturization so I don't think a year will be able to show any real signs either.

:agree:

You are persistent!! I see you have this thread on other sites too! Your hair looks fine, were all envious!. I genuinely believe You are more likely suffering from OCD than hairloss, you even allude to this yourself...

Read that back and imagine it wasnt you that posted it. What would you think this guy should do?!! First things first, you posted on the boards, were offered sound advice, you didnt take it, you merely came straight back and did what you always did. Thats not rational, so first things first you gotta chill out and take the advice youve been given. I am suffering from hairloss and i hate it more than almost anything, but im not obsessing over photos and posting messages galore about my situation, so i would consider your anxiety to be a bigger problem to you than your hair.

Im all aware about the anxiety of life, but you know, when you focus so hard on tiny little things, you lose complete track of the bigger picture. You are literally wasting every second of your life whilst your worrying about this right now. Keep photos every 6-12 months, do not take thousands upon thousands, do not spend hours looking in the mirror, do not spend hours looking for fault, if you do, you will find it, as well all have them. We all also have great traits which for whatever reason, we gloss over, preferring to focus on the negative. So spend a little less time focusing on where you think you have loss and take a look and see that you have a tonne of hair, way more than the average and in the grand scheme of life you should be delighted. No offence but your outlook and worry is completely irrational, hence why methinketh the hair is not the problem.

Seriously dude, you gotta wake up, for your own health!! I mean this is the least offensive way.
